I went online to post reviews for both Meryl and Merlin and was stunned to read the inflammatory review that someone had posted for them here. Based on my experience, it seems like "sheer fiction" about Shear Envy. Merlin's massage technique is gentle and tailored to the needs of each client. And with regard to incessant chattering, I have never heard that. He talks only as much as I have desired. If I am in a mood to converse, he'll do that. If I need quiet, that's what he'll give. And he never, I repeat--never--gives you more pressure than you can tolerate. In fact, asking for feedback on the amount of pressure he is using is one of the few things he does request from his clients during a massage.
And now to Meryl. I don't know about her being "God's gift to Salida", but she is typically a sunny, happy person who can make your day a little brighter. None of that would matter if her haircuts weren't great. The fact is, they are. So give them a try. You won't be sorry you did.
