Justin was my massage therapist. I ended up having a deep tissue massage which felt great after hiking. He is was professional and friendly, and shared interesting information about Salida as well as hiking. The only improvement I could see would be having the spa in a more commercial area. The spa is not hard to find, just a bit off the beaten path in a residential area. The staff of was very helpful and accommodating.
The owner, Jenifer, is simply a great person. Even though she was short staffed, she went out of her way to accommodate us and was really cool about everything. Jen made my nails look GREAT, even though I hadn't had a manicure in years. She's also really fun to talk to...and I'm not always much of a talker.
Bella Vita Day Spa is great! My (now) husband and I got married in Salida. I didn't do the best job with planning everything, and I ended up calling Bella Vita the day before our wedding to see if they could do a manicure for me and a massage for my husband.
Made us feel at home.
If I didn't live in Virginia, I'd be a regular at Jen's spa. If you're in or near Salida, you should definitely spend some time at Bella Vita!
