I was vacationing in Buena Vista and my truck broke down in Salida on a Sunday . While I was working on the truck a few people walk by and suggested Mike garage that he was a good mechanic and honest man. I called and left him a message because the shop was closed Sunday. First thing Monday morning I went to Mike's garage even though he was busy he worked me. He figured out the problem had parts ordered the same day had my truck on the left working on it so when the part came in the next morning he could just finish up. Dallas working the front desk also went out of her way to help us she called around and found us a good room at a good price so we could stay and wait on the truck. They had us going the next morning before lunch and was able to get back and get my kids back
My car had no power and jumping it had done nothing. I called Mike right after he had returned from vacation and he was able to fit my jeep in that day. He was able to resurrect my battery, rather than putting a new one in my car, and the repairs were VERY reasonably priced. Also, as the owner of an older, higher mileage car I didn't get a list of things that I should think about fixing. Mike is definitely that honest and trustworthy mechanic that everyone searches for when they move somewhere new. I'll definitely keep taking my business there.

I've brought my car to Mike several times and it was always less than what he had quoted. That never happens at a mechanic shop anymore. He's very honest and will tell you exactly what needs to be done. I have since moved to Carbondale and one thing I really miss is having a great mechanic, thanks Mike!

Mike's garage is great. I needed a last minute oil change on my Land Rover and they were able to accommodate me same day. I left it with them while I went mountain biking and it was ready when I got back to town. The staff was knowledgeable about Land Rovers and were easy to deal with. Thanks guys!
