We love the pool for our 3 kids. However, after I got a kickboard taken out my hands today by the supervising life gaurd while I was trying to teach my 4 year old to swim I'm feeling differently. They have a reputation for mean life gaurds.
Big, popular and well run. Lifeguards and staff are more than just bored teenagers who are not paying attention. My 8year old had to swim a lap in the really large lap pool before he was allowed to swim in the deep end and was encouraged and proud of his accomplishment by the life guard.
Place is great! Has two large pools. 1 is for swimming and the other is for kids and for lounging. They also offer private rooms with big walk-in tubs that you can heat to your desire. Very nice. It's $18 for two people for an hour and $3 extra per person to access the pools. Good value.
Only used the showers here, but after hiking all week, $5 for a hot, clean shower was fantastic. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly. Had I had a little more money, I would've paid to swim as well; the hot springs and pool seemed so nice.
This is an indoor family oriented Aquatic Center. It is well-staffed, clean, and offers varying water temperatures as well as depths and activities for all ages. Before being allowed in the deepest water, swimmers must perform and meet minimum requirements and receive a band for the day.
