One of those hole-in-the-wall places that you are so glad you found. I ordered calzones and pizzas from the place and the friendly people that run the place are also great cooks. Go hungry and leave satiated.
A lot of Italian restaurants have no ambience. This is one of those. But not all Italian restaurants have good pizza. DePasquale's has good pizza. It starts with a good crust, and has a red sauce with just the right amount of tang and pepper, and they use cheese which is just the right amount of stretchy. It's very good and I highly recommend it.

Customer service was horrible. The owner greeted us and was very rude. I walked in with my boyfriend & my service dog (with his vest on). We finally decided what we wanted to order, we went to order & she rudely tells me that I need to get my dog out or show an ID card. So, I pull out my ID card & hand it to her. She looks it over, rolls her eyes & hands it back to me. Should of left right there but we were starving. We ordered our drinks, and she told us to get them ourselves when they were directly behind her. The pizza was mediocre, tastes like those pizzas you get frozen from Walmart. The tables were dirty.. there was no ice available. Keep in mind my boyfriend & I are both servers at restaurants. She complained about tourists coming into town & ruining the reputation of Salida. Worst experience. Will not be returning.
