The staff and house keepers were great and very helpful. They have a gas fire pit out back where you can you roast marshmallows. They have bikes you can borrow and ride around town. They have a nice pool and four hot tubs! Nice place to stay but the room we had was very.. cozy.. Will probably look into a larger room next time.
The location is fine. Number of rooms is fine. Service was good, and friendly staff. But our room was a different story. They don't clean behind the couches because we found dead moths and bugs such as crickets. They bed was comfy but worried us after what we saw.
The room was clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed the morning coffee and breakfast chatting with Britt and Don!
The location was convenient to restaurants and a short drive to the historical downtown.
The room was really clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a half step above standard fare, but the dining area outside was really delightful. They've got three hot tubs and a pool. I had an excellent time. I look forward to next time.
We had to stay here for a night because of a snowstorm and it was a very pleasant stay. The rooms have everything you need and they are very spacious.
I stayed at the Super 8 in Salida for 2 weeks early in October. I found all the employees to be knowledgeable and very friendly, and the owners were just great! The pool and hot tubs were wonderful, and the patio area had a great gas fireplace and seating area - lots of reading out there!
