I'm giving this place a two star rating. Could have been a three or four. But, although it is dog friendly there's no real place to walk them. The place they offer is nothing but gravel and weeds. The room and property was very clean. And the staff very nice. Bed was horrible. Needed a new mattress in room #12.
Comfortable, affordable, friendly, and accomodating. We had brought our little ones and it was nice that they did not have a pet fee. They did though present a pet policy that seemed very fair and offered freshly laundered doggie beds. Our kiddos loved the beds, oh and the doggie biscuits too! Location is great, if you want to stay close do downtown. Also a great location to let your dogs hang out by the river which is literally right across the street. We had a wonderful and relaxing two nights stay at The Woodland! If we come by again we're definitely staying again.
You get what you pay for, which was quality. Very comfy beds, nice accommodations, and clean room. The sound cancelling could have been better and bathroom was very small, but it was good enough for me. No breakfast served, but overall a positive experience
Woodland also had a firework watch party in the patio area, provided chairs, free beverages, and snacks. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially pet owners traveling with their fur babies. I hope to stay here again!
Immaculate room, nicely appointed and painted. Quiet location within walking distance of downtown and river park. Delightful, family owned and operated.
We stayed here last minute for the 4th of July. They put us in a great room (full kitchen, family living area, and large king bed) at a discount. The staff is very accommodating. They are also VERY pet friendly: they do not charge a pet fee, they provide dog beds, bowls, treats, and potty bags in the pet bathroom area. They do charge a small cleanup fee for pet hair, accidents, etc. so just keep an eye on your pup and be mindful.
