My family and I had a wonderful time here. Our hostess was warm and welcoming. The cheese class was excellent. My sister is interesting in getting some goats for her Colorado property and all of her questions were answered by an expert!! My mother, who is 87, found this to be a fascinating experience and especially enjoyed the gourmet breakfast. I can't say enough about how much I loved our little vacation at the Mountain Goat Lodge.

We had a fantastic time and the hosts were awesome - great breakfasts, cabin-lodge atmosphere, beautiful property with awesome views and fun interacting with the goats / hens / dogs. Will go back to stay here again for sure!!

Wonderful getaway for a couple of childhood friends. Every year we try to pick a place that’s a little out of the ordinary. This place fit us perfectly. We had such a nice time walking the grounds and cuddling with the goats. We made cheese (Gina was a great teacher), and then we proceeded to make a meal out of it, with crackers, freshly made cheese, fresh garden tomatoes, and we added a little sip of wine. It was beautiful and delicious. Gina made fabulous breakfasts for us too. Soooo good! One bit of advice: if you have celiac disease, make sure the owner knows. We mentioned that my friend was gluten free, but didn’t specifically say she had celiac. Gina made a scrumptious breakfast, and after we ate it, she told us the ingredients, which happened to contain cream of celery soup (a brand that contains wheat flour). Needless to say, my friend got pretty sick and spent a couple hours in the bathroom. It wasn’t the way we wanted to end our experience, but we realized that Gina didn’t know how serious my friend’s dietary restrictions were, so we were not upset. It was clear that Gina felt bad, and she would have accommodated my friend if she had known exactly what she could/could not have. So: my advice is to let Gina know exactly what your needs are, and she is super willing to go the extra mile for you. We loved our stay!

Really great breakfasts!!! Relaxing setting with stunning mountain views. Immaculate accommodations. Great way to commune with nature that is within 10 minutes of trendy shops and restaurants. Makes for a fun getaway weekend.

My wife and I LOVED our little romantic getaway at Mountain Goat Lodge!! Gina spent so much time making us feel at home and educating us about the ranch. She gave a tour of the greenhouse, the barn, and even taught us how to make Goat Cheese. Yum! The goats were so friendly, we couldn't believe it. There is a nice hiking trail around the grounds and the breakfasts were terrific! Thank you Gina and Dacy. We recommend your ranch unequivocally and will definitely be back.
