We had an excellent stay at the Mountain Motel! Convenient distance to quaint downtown Salida. The service was great and professional. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It was dog friendly which was a huge plus for us. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Quiet,secure,friendly....liked the fact that local police patrol this area...also we could bring my wife's house dog,as they are pet friendly.
Nice big room, cozy, wide room, big bath and sink area. Out door seating area right out back through double doors. Convient to down town and river.
I was so pleasantly surprised with this little gem. We got to Salida around 715 pm and checked in, finding the cutest decor and vibe in our room. The cute coffee station was a nice touch. It felt like going to visit a fun aunts house more than a motel. We had a door leading to a grassy patch with a table for coffee in the mornings. The views were insanely beautiful. I wish we had stayed more than one night.
